She loves to bring concepts to life - creating characters, enchanting worlds and magical creatures for TV, music videos, print or digital/viral work. One of three animations Katy created for the RSA was Dr Brene Brown's TED talk on "The Power Of Empathy", and it received well over 1 million views on YouTube in just a week! With this video, Katy became an official honouree of the Webby Awards, she was shortlisted for the AOI Awards, and she won the Industry Awards at SheSays. The video has now garnered over 25 million views online and is still widely being enjoyed and shared. In 2015 Katy opened a small creative company with her husband and now works with other illustrators and animators on all kinds of exciting projects.
Katy is currently running a Kickstarter for her new project 'Big Up My Boobs,' an animated comedy song about breastfeeding: breaking down barriers and reassuring mums that they're doing an amazing job.
